A little thing about the Dragon Bridge Danang
It might be a challenge for you to list out all the bridges in Da Nang, right? Worry not, we are here to help you answer the question. To begin with, we have to mention the youngest bridge lying atop Ba Na Hills – the Golden Bridge then the cable-stayed swing bridge – Han River Bridge, Thuan Phuoc – Vietnam’s longest bridge, and sail-shaped Tran Thi Ly Bridge to name a few. In which, the most outstanding one that attracts lots of tourists is none other than the Dragon Bridge Danang. With the unique design and fire/water performance, it’s the one-and-only Dragon of the most worth-living city in Vietnam.
At 9.pm every weekend and holidays, even Tet Holiday or Vietnamese Lunar New Year, the Dragon on the bridge can breathe fire in 2 minutes after which it starts spitting water for 3 minutes. As an incredible highlight in Da Nang City, these performances offer any tourists a dazzling display of lights, making your night bright and joyful.
A Special Magic Show at Dragon Bridge Danang
What is interesting is that the Dragon of the beach city has two heads, making visitors confused to pinpoint which one can breathe fire and spit water. However, you can watch the performance from both of them. And be careful with the fire. Stay away from the head; just view it from afar. Do you know that the Hanami Hotel is only 5 minutes away from the Han River and you can even enjoy the show from its rooftop? Isn’t it exciting?
The Dragon breathes fire nine times before three times spitting water. It will be more interesting if you enjoy it while drinking some coffee in a high building or from the banks of the Han River.
During the performances, the authorities stop vehicles from shuttling through the bridge. That takes about 30 minutes of waiting or heading to other bridges such as Thuan Phuoc or Tran Thi Ly.
The Dragon Bridge Danang near Da Nang City’s amusement park
Lying in the heart of the city, the bridge is near the amusement park or food courts such as night-time street food on Pham Hong Thai street, Helio night food zone, Asia Park to name a few. There, you can stop for some freshly caught seafood and upside down beers.
