Mui Nghe is on Son Tra Peninsula, where is just about 15 minutes driving from budget Hanami beach hotel. The entrance to Mui Nghe appears as soon as you reach the thousand-year-old banyan tree after crossing Linh Ung pagoda. Stop your vehicle there and walk through the path in the forest to get to the place. Remember to lock your vehicle carefully!

It is quite hard to walk through the path in the forest, which dips a bit. However, once the scenery comes to your eyes, you will feel hard to say goodbye. From the empty cliff, move your eyes down to view Mui Nghe. There, you can put up a tent, hold an outdoor party and hang out with your friends. It’s sure been fun!

The most expected spot must be the spectacular blue lake likes Nam O reef. It was called a lake in the sea because there are rocks cover around. Therefore, it’s safer for swimming here than in the sea. Mui Nghe hasn’t had a rescue team yet, it’s new on the map, remember? So bring along lifejackets and be very careful about your own and your friends’ safety.

With very clear water, this lake is an intersection of warm and cold currents. That’s why there are lots of fish and shrimps here. Don’t freak out if you see some of them passing right in front of your face. If you want to go fishing, take along some tools. Then, get ready for an abundant party of seafood caught by yourself.

Like Hanami said above, you can pitch your tent on Mui Nghe. When it grows darker and darker, the landscape becomes more picturesque with white sea foam created by the ways. Bring along full items for your camping such as a tent, firewood, and food to name a few.  And don’t forget to get all the trash back with you to protect the environment.

However, this is hurricane season in Da Nang so people are forbidden to visit this place. Even though, don’t be sad since Da Nang has more for you to explore. For more information, check on it here.
