17 km away from downtown to the Northwest, Nam O reef is in Hoa Hiep Ward, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang city. Its names mean a reef in the south of ancient O district, formed in the 1960s last century. Aside from My Khe beach, this reef is also charm and unspoiled one.
Nam O reef is divided into 2 parts which are Ca reef (the big reef) and Con reef (the smaller one). The big reef has dense layers of skerries, where we can set our feet on for a walk and feel the green moss under. It’s gonna be a very interesting feeling. The smaller reef is located parallel to the big one. These two create an image of a mom embracing her son dearly that brings tourists a feeling of tranquillity.
